1. Forward your invoices: Each company gets a unique Tropic forwarding address (like ap@yourcompany.tropicapp.io). Send invoices there—manually or automatically via inbox rules.
2. Tropic scans and extracts: Tropic AI reads each invoice and pulls out key details: line items, billing terms, totals, dates.
3. We match it to the right contract: Tropic connects the invoice to its source, whether that’s a signed contract, a vendor request, or both.
4. Discrepancies get flagged: If something looks off - wrong amount, duplicate invoice, shady terms - we flag it. No more guesswork or Slack chases.
5. Fraud protection: We check invoices against your known suppliers and contracts to catch anything that doesn’t belong.
